October 27, 2016: Stamford, Connecticut – Agabhumi, an internationally-renowned brand of fashion-forward jewelry, clothing and accessories, has announced they are giving over $1,000 to each of two youth oriented charities distributing the proceeds from t-shirt sales for “Unbreakable Line of Unity”. The line of unity occurred on the streets of Stamford on August 1, 2016. The idea, championed by Agabhumi’s co-owners, Michael and Regina Kirshbaum, was conceived to show support and solidarity for police officers who protect citizens’ lives every day in a grassroots, tangible way. Regina and Michael were joined by Stamford Police Department Detective Eva Maldonado as they worked to promote the event. The charities benefiting are PROJECT MUSIC, an after-school music education program in Stamford, and Revolution Fitness, a personalized fitness company focused on customized workouts and comprehensive wellness programs.
Regina Kirshbaum, co-owner of Agabhumi at 22 Magee Avenue, says “We are so proud to be able to donate to these two amazing charities in such a meaningful way. Through our unity line, our goal was to showcase and provide support to our police officers in a unique way, to honor them in a way that doesn’t just talk the talk. The fact that we raised substantial funds for PROJECT MUSIC and Revolution Fitness proved to be equally meaningful to our community.”
